Privacy Policy — The Mortality Frame

This page explains what personal data we collect and why. It's written to be readable, not to hide things in legalese.

Who we are

"The Mortality Frame" is an independent product by labstick, operated by Fajri Illahi, contactable at support@beyondertech.com.

The waitlist

If you give us your email on this page, we use it for one purpose only: to email you when The Mortality Frame launches, plus at most a short follow-up. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for their marketing. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it any time by replying "unsubscribe" or emailing support@beyondertech.com, and we'll delete your address.

Server logs

Like most websites, our server may briefly record technical data (including your IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working. We don't use it to identify you and we don't keep it longer than needed for security and abuse prevention.

Buying the workbook

Purchases are processed by Polar (polar.sh), which acts as the Merchant of Record / seller and handles payment, tax, and your purchase data under its own privacy policy. We receive your email and order details from Polar so we can deliver the PDF and honor refunds. We don't receive or store your card details.

What we never collect

The workbook is something you write in privately. We never see, collect, or store your answers to any of the reflection prompts. They stay on your device and in your copy, full stop.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to stop emailing you — just contact support@beyondertech.com. If you're in the EU/UK you have rights under the GDPR; if you're in Indonesia you have rights under UU PDP (UU 27/2022). We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Data breaches

If your data were ever exposed in a breach, we'll notify affected people and the relevant authority as required by law (including, for Indonesian users, within 3×24 hours under UU PDP).

Children

This product and this page are for adults (18+). We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above.

An Indonesian-language (Bahasa Indonesia) version of this policy is available on request and will be added before any Indonesia-targeted promotion.
